2016 Football Booster Pheasant Shoot

LOCATION & DIRECTIONS: Gainey Farm – Cairo, GA

From I-10 and Thomasville Road {US319} go North 13.4 miles and take a left on Lake Iamonia cut-off {SR12}.

Go 1.1 miles and take a right on Beth Page Road and go 2.1 miles -- Beth Page turns to the right. After passing Beth Page Methodist Church on the left, go about 200 yards and take the right and continue on Beth Page Road.

Go 4.6 miles {go across Meridian Road} and Beth Page becomes Hadley Ferry Road. Turn left on to Gainey Road.

Go 3.6 miles and you will come to the intersection of Gainey Road and Pine Hill Road -- there will be a sign saying "Tower Shoot." Take a right and go 200 yards and there will be another sign saying "Tower Shoot." Take a left and you will be at the parking area for the "Tower Shoot."

TIME AND SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: The shoot will begin at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 13. Before the shoot, there will be a welcome and safety talk and any questions from shooters will be addressed.

Following the shoot, we will enjoy a lunch made by our friends at Gainey Farm. The cost of lunch is included in your $1,500 fee. We will conduct a raffle during lunch for our shooters.

PAYMENT INFORMATION: Checks may be made payable to Maclay Football Boosters and sent to Rob Sniffen at: Sniffen & Spellman, P.A., 123 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, FL 32301. We will also be able to accept credit card payments this year (additional information

will be forthcoming). A transaction fee will be added to any online payments. Payment is requested no later than Monday, February 8, 2016.

IMPORTANT:

• 12 and 20 gauge shot gun shells will be donated through an event sponsorship. In the unlikely event we run out, you may want to bring a few boxes of shells.

• Guns will not be provided at the event. Please bring your own.

Wear orange.

A release form for your signature will be provided at the event.

The pheasant will be dressed {breasts} and ice will be provided for participant's coolers. Coolers will be provided for participants; you do not have to being your own cooler.

There will be trained retrievers at every other station. Shooters are discouraged from bringing a dog since it is difficult to shoot and run a dog. The dogs are all very steady and will have a handler. These dogs will not be running loose and will not interfere with your shooting.

Bring ear plugs and shooting glasses.

Pictures will be taken.
